Celia Winters had been enjoying a fairly quiet month after the trials she’d gone through when her power was unbound. She’s worked hard on getting a handle on her magic, and it’s coming slowly, but surely.
But unknown to her, a great evil rose at the full moon two days past. Surprisingly enough, the demon is the least of her problems, as someone has targeted her and Ed, her fellow enforcer, with assassins. She needs to figure out how to stop both the assassins and the demon fast, and she better use her wits and strength of will to do it, because her magic on its own is hardly equal to the task.
If she doesn’t, she’ll fail not only herself, but the ones in her life that depend on her to keep them safe.

The first time I tried this book I got so mad at the main character I didn’t even try to finish it just skipped to the end and moved on. I missed one hell of a good read doing that. There are many times I wanted to slap the main character but helps make her so much more real. The part that pissed me off is actually a major part to the story and is very much needed. The plot is actually a bit complicated as you have 2 fights going on. One being the over bearing coven leader from the last story and the other being the assassins. It actually makes for a great plot and when you think it’s done it’s just getting to the next part of the story... Be warned though the prologue is actually a bit confusing (at least for me it was) and while is needed for the story really doesn’t actually move it along at all.

Demon Moon A Celia Winters Novel Book 2 eBook D L Harrison Reviews
A really good book in a great series. More action in this book and fun development of the main character. I can't wait to read the next book.
Great read. If you like shifters, witches and vampire books with a little twist you should really like this book. Lots of action and a little mystery. I cannot wait for more!
Excellent book. I was surprised when i read this series bec its really good. You cant get some insight much in the synopsis but i took the risk of reading the series. Highly recommended.
Story line is continually surprising with its direction. The actual writing itself is superb. What is the best talent of the author in this book is his ability to write about supernatural occurrences with absolute believability in the normal world perspective a reader must use to judge a book, after all I'm just a normal!
I truely love this series. Great world building and I'm really connecting to the main characters...love Celia and Ed is really growing on me. Celia is a little uncertain about giving her love to him, however we're not buried under endless chapters of angst building up to the 'SURRENDER', with which so many authors replace action. The story moves right along...no frustrating bogging down...tempting us weaker, impatient ones to SKIP. Loved it!
There is little originality in the world-building, with witches, weres, and vampires all hiding their existence from humans, while living mostly well-integrated lives in the modern world. However, I enjoyed the uncommonly straightforward narrative and the main character, who is sympathetic without being overly sentimental. Celia has issues integrating her personal talents, as well as some confusion about her love life. However, unlike too many Urban Fantasies, she doesn't agonize about those for hours; instead she rather pragmatically makes her way around those challenges. In this case, fast-moving plot and rather superficial emotional reactions make for an easy-to-read, and easy-to-enjoy adventure. I look forward to more of the same.
Really licking this story. Hard to find books that hold my attention after the first. Hope there's more in the series!
